- Step 1: Open NTSA App
The first step in the process of verifying driving licence online in Kenya is to open the NTSA App.
- Step 2: Enter Email or ID Number
Next, enter your email address or ID number that is registered to your eCitizen account. The NTSA App uses eCitizen login details to access the NTSA services via mobile application.
- Step 3: Click Next
Once you have entered eCitizen login credentials on the NTSA App, proceed and click on the “Next” button.
- Step 4: Enter OTP Verification Code
In this step, you need to enter the OTP verfication code that has been sent to your phone number.
- Step 5: Click Next
Once you have entered the OTP verification code, proceed and click on the “Next” button.
- Step 6: NTSA App Login Successful
Once you have entered the correct details and the system has verified your login using the OTP verification code, you will now be able to access the NTSA App dashboard.
- Step 7: Click on Services
In this step, inside the NTSA App dashboard, proceed and click on “Services” to begin the driving licence verification process.
- Step 8: Select Driving Licence
Next select driving licence and click on the “Verify” button.
- Step 9:Enter ID Number
In this step, enter “ID Number” and proceed to click on the “Verify” button to verify the driving licence in the NTSA systems.
- Step 10: Driving Licence Details
Lastly, the NTSA system will verify the driving licence and the results of the driving licence verification will be shown for you to check and confirm the same. The results of the driving verification process will show the relevant driving licence details including; full names, driving licence reference (driving licence number), vehicle class, date of expiry and status of the driving licence.
